Tattoos: Heh. Where do I begin…Lindsey has an elaborate series of tribal markings/arcane symbols which render him invisible to any mystic force/being.
Personality:
Quirks/Traits: Smoking, biting his lower lip. Slips into more casual accent (more strongly Southern) when relaxed/tired/upset.
Likes: music, his guitar, his ’56 Ford, not having to wear a suit every day
Dislikes: Angel. People asking about the freckles on the back of one hand but not the other. People thinking he’s dumb because of his accent/appearance.
Obsessions: Revenge. Getting his fingerpicking up to scratch.
Friends: A couple back home, but mostly he has ‘aquaintances’.
Enemies: Lilah Morgan, Angel, Senior Partners.

History: : Lindsey was born to a dirt-poor family in Norman, Oklahoma. His mother and father were never particularly interested in him, and Lindsey could see that the only way to end up being anything other than a clone of his father was to work his ass off. Despite the teasing from his family, and the other kids at school, Lindsey worked hard enough to get a scholarship to Law School, studying at Hastings College of the Law at the University of California. He was recruited from there by Wolfram and Hart, and began his working life in the mailroom. Slowly, he rose through the ranks, impressing his superiors with his diligence as well as his charm, becoming a valued member of Wolfram and Hart’s Special Projects Team.
The one thing that quickly falls under scrutiny is Lindsey’s loyalty. When he hears of the firm’s plan to murder innocent children, Lindsey switches sides, aiding Angel in saving the children. He is on the point of leaving the firm when he is offered a promotion, and a prominent role in the ressurection of Darla, Angel’s sire.
While resurrecting Darla, Lindsey loses his hand when Angel attacks him with an axe, and this only increases his determination for revenge, and his loyalty to Wolfram and Hart. He grows closer to Darla, and when he finds out that Darla has slept with her Childe, he brutally beats Angel. Unfortunatley for him, vampires aren’t so easy to hurt, and Lindsey is quickly worse off, his fake hand smashed with the sledgehammer he used to beat Angel. His pride is further battered when he returns home to find that Darla has fled town, leaving him utterly alone.
Demoralised by what’s happened, Lindsey’s work suffers, until the senior partners decide to give him a helping hand. No pun intended. He is given a transplant, but is quickly horrified by his new hand’s tendency to scrawl the word ‘kill’ across any bit of paper he’s trying to write on.
Again with Angel’s help, he discovers that the partners have a rather unusual organ ‘donation’ program running; and his hand is courtesy of one of his friends from the mailroom. Horrified, realising he can do nothing for his friend, he pulls the plug, watching as he dies.
Realising that he can no longer justify the company he works for, Lindsey leaves Wolfram and Hart and Los Angeles, departing with an uneasy truce with Angel. He travels around the world, trying to ease his conscience a little, broadening his mind. He slowly gathers tattoos on his travels, together providing him with invisibility to any surveillance, technological or magical.
He’s heard of what’s happening in Sunnydale, knowing that the senior partners will be interested soon enough, if they aren’t already. And he plans on being there when things all go wrong.

Talents: Arguing his way out of anything. Guitar playing, though he was better before certain brooding ‘reformed’ vampires got axe-happy.
Strengths: Supernatural agility, stamina, and reflexes. Excellent swordsman. Mystic tattoos render him invisible to remote surveillance both technological and mystical. (from wikipedia).
Weaknesses: Rash and hot-headed. Takes (too many) chances.
Long-Term Goals: Getting his revenge on both the Senior Partners at Wolfram and Hart and on Angel. He still hasn’t forgiven him for the whole hand thing.
Short Term Goals: Lie low, but see what mayhem he can cause round Sunnydale. Test out his new inviso-tats.
